LG recently drew up a win-win plan to improve the cooperative relationship with their partners. LG had a meeting for the plan and they discussed certain topics including improvement of payment terms, growth of partners' revenue growth via expansion of investment support, and enlarging the partners' participation. They will put this plan in action while promoting new businesses and other projects.
They plan to release the topics of discussion during this meeting and the win-win plan in detail in the near future.
However, industry analysts have a suspicious glance towards LG's movement. They are considering that LG made the plan to please the Korean government.
Recently, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy selected a business partner for the 'Global Leading Top 10 Premier Materials (WPM).' Surprisingly, Samsung SDI was chosen while LG was left out. Most people considered LG to be the stronger candidate. However, the reason why LG was left out was because LG didn't have much participation with small businesses. LG recognized what they were lacking, and now they are in a hurry to create this win-win plan to follow up on Samsung.
