Korea is not the only one which is in a passionate development of 3D technology. At Korea Electronic Show (KES) 2010, Korea IT Times met with a French business man who is enthusiastically trying to bring a 3D era for moving into a new epoch.
In France, many companies are developing its 3D technologies in various fields, such as movie, broadcasting, videogame and many other related fields in 3D to catch up with Hollywood 3D technologies. As part of the effort, Dimension 3 International S-3D and New Images Forum (dimension3-expo) was successfully held in Hong Kong last year and now Stephan Faudeux, director of dimension3-expo, visited KINTEX on Oct 12 to see the Korea's cutting edge 3D technologies.
He already knew that Korea's 3D industries including hardware and software are rapidly flourishing, based on the success of Samsung and LG and many other Korean companies. He is also aware of the fact that Korean laboratories have been developing 3D convergence technologies in various fields for many years. After visiting some booths, he decided to collaborate with KES to make an amazing 3D show in France, after he had witnessed Korea's 3D cutting edge technologies with his own eyes.
To collaborate with KES, dimension3-expo plans to have a needs exchange. Introducing their 3D content while providing their producers will be the first step in collaboration and seeking Korean 3D manufacturers and technologies, including 3D convergence technology, will be taking the first step.
"We have started to produce 3D content, including movies and animation and we have an especially, strong point in producing 3D broadcasting systems, as well as music concerts and theme parks. It will be great opportunities for both of us (Korea and France) to create even more flourishing businesses by holding a 3D expo in France next year." said the Stephan Faudeux.
