Galaxy S is now available for Froyo 2.2 OS. On November 14, Samsung announced the updated Android 2.2 (Froyo) for its Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S is now available. It provides new features and better performance.

The Android 2.2 upgrade provides users PC-like internet interface. It offers voice-controlled GPS through Google MapsTM with Navigation and faster performance by JIT (Just in Time) compiler. Additionally, further functionalities including Search in-browser, Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1, improved customization options are also provided with the OS upgrade.
