G-Star 2010 came to a succesful end

The nation's largest gaming trade show, G-Start 2010, has wrapped up successfully. This six year old show brought a record number of 280,000 visitors during the four day event.

G-Star 2010 gained great responses from visitors by releasing a variety of new games during the show. A total of 311 companies from 22 countries including Sony Computer Entertainment, Nexon, NCsoft introduced their latest online, mobile games and offered a chance to demonstrate prospective games to the visitors. Besides games, G-Star 2010 also provided various events.

According to an official from the organizing committee, a total of 166 business deals have been completed through the Game Export Consultation and it is reportedly worth roughly USD 198 million.

G-Star 2010's remarkable success shows that it has the potential to be one of the world's biggest gaming trade shows. It also proved that this gaming trade show can attract not only game fans, but also many regular visitors. The show has been praised as a foundation for being an international cultural festival.
