Hooleyman, CEO of BSA Global in his speech at BSA Innovation Forum.
The Business Software Alliance (BSA) Innovation Forum was held at the JW Marriott hotel in Seoul on Nov. 19, 2010 with the subject "Cloud Computing and Competitive ICT Strategies for the Next Decade". The Forum was attended by over 100 dignitaries, including Dr. Yang Jae-soo, advisor to the governor of the province in information and communications, Dr. Yang Seung-taik, former Minister of Information and Communication Ministry and Invited Researcher of ETRI, Dr. Cho Sung-kap, Professor at the Graduate School of Information Management and Security of Korea University and Chairman of IPAK, Jeong Won-mo, principal manager of Knowledge Infrastructure Division National DB Project Dept of National Information Society Agency (NIA) and Baek Hyun-bong, Director of Korea Defense SW Association.

The first speaker, Robert W. Hooleyman, CEO of BSA Global, delivered the recommendations of Cloud Computing Policy based on the several topics such as building a healthy cloud ecosystem in Asia, the opportunities of cloud computing in Asia and government policies that promote confidence in cloud computing services. The second speaker, Wee Choo Hua, Regional Director for Software Policy of Microsoft, delivered a presentation on open innovation of the new paradigm and the third speaker, Seow Hiong GOH, Executive Director for Global Policy and Government Affairs of Asia Pacific Cisco Systems delivered quality broadband for today and tomorrow in their speeches. The last speaker, John Galligan, Regional Director for Internet Policy of Microsoft Asia Pacific, delivered new opportunities, new challenges and new responsibilities of cloud computing in his speech.
