President Lifanov Ivan of JSC Prroimpkor

President Lifanov Ivan of JSC Proimpkor has been trading with Samsung and LG for the last twenty years. He visited KES 2010 to strengthen his relationship with Samsung and LG, as well as to become more familiar with new and various types of Korean products. Mr. Ivan said, "We met Korean suppliers in the medical field such as Humantech and Meltech. Korean products are appreciated in Russia for their high quality. It is my job to study new products and introduce them to my country. We expect our business to expand next year with active trading."

Buyers meeting of Vetrastar and Unikor Battery

Director General Cabehkob of MED introduced its company as Russia's top leading security equipment company.  MED is a long-term partner and supplier of automotive companies like Lamborghini, Daimler, GM, Renault, Suzuki and Volkswagen. By opening representative offices in Israel and Korea, MED showed high interest both in the Middle Eastern and Asian market. Korean companies thus seemed very excited to meet MED at KES 2010. "For a company like us, that is always in search of new products, the most important thing of all is "networking".  We reached out to three companies thus far in the morning and they were all the products we are highly interested in. We look forward to having a good partnership in the future," said Director Cabehkob.

Russian "business angel" lands in KES 2010

Vetrastar company's Technical Director Andrey Dvoynyshev and General Director Anatoliy Shestak are having a buyers meeting with Unikor Battery. Vetrastar was also enthusiastic to meet many Korean suppliers at KES 2010. Dvoynyshev shared his great impression of dynamic Korean companies. Shestak also added that he was grateful to have interpreters that reduced the language barrier between Korean companies and Vetrastar. Since Korean products are more expensive than Chinese products, careful examination needs to be followed, however, considering "the products quality and new technology, we are carefully considering a $100,000 investment," said the director.

RISDE and Tetron are conducting a buyers meeting at KES 2010

JSC Angel's "business angel", Maria, is a Korea-Russia trade agent. She showed a great interest in Korean cosmetic devices. She went to the booths personally to test all the hair dryers and massage beds or chairs provided for display. Maria showed determination and enthusiasm in examining and trying out products thoroughly before going back to Russia. There, she will start marketing these products with actual commentaries. "It is hard to find interesting products such as these in Russia. Korea has many different kinds of cosmetics and they all are innovative and well designed. I believe these products will have a great impact in the Russian market. If Korean companies can work with us on reducing the price, my job will become much easier," she said with a smile.

Director Sergey I. Lapinsky of SPMash

RISDE is being introduced to Testron's Harness tester, backplane tester, and fuse box tester. RISDE stated, "We learned about Korean companies' and their respective products through KES 2010, and became aware of their quality. We are looking forward to conducting future business with most of the Korean companies we met today," said Director Constantine.

STEP is meeting with KIT Korea

SPMash's Director Sergey I. Lapinsky met with Korean companies UKB (Unikor Battery), S&T Global, MECSTECH, and SVCo. SPMash is a film heater maker in Russia. Their top quality film heaters are being used widely throughout Chile, Ecuador, France, and Korea. SPMash has stated that all the meetings at KES 2010 were very significant to its company, and that he would return to his company as an active marketer for these companies back in Russia. He expects to reunite with Korean partners next year.

"Frankly, I didn't expect much before coming to Korea, however, as soon as I got here, I saw on the schedule that I had five buyers meetings set up in a row, each lasting 45 minutes each. It was very surprising. So I have met with Eye Max, GeoCross, Withsolution, KIT Korea so far, and I am about to meet Mocomtech. Korean products are surely impressive and I believe our customers will also be very interested to learn about these new products," said Director Vladimrovna.
