B&P International Co. Ltd (www.hando.co.kr), a developer of various electronic measuring devices and unmanned weather forecasting systems, unveiled the world's first HDMI audio analyzer. The audio analyzer (APx 585), which will be on view at KES 2011, is capable of simultaneously analyzing eight channels, and its user-friendly software makes automation tests possible without extra programming.
Its automatic report creation function makes APx 585 suitable for Dolby & DTS certification test. And various functions, like HDMI EDID Viewer & Editor and HDMI Metadata Recorder, makes HDMI-related tests easier. B&P International's other noteworthy product is the APx 525, which is a two-channel audio analyzer that can measure and monitor audio performance in real-time. Thus, there is no need for extra scopes and spectrum analyzers.
Data value, status bit and information on the header can be monitored in real-time. Extra module slots can be added if needed, and responses to new interspaces and expansion of functions are easy. Options like AG52, BW52 and DSIO make possible analysis of square waves generators; DIM generators and analyzers; 24-bit, 2.5 MS/s sample rate; 1 MHz FFTs, not to mention serial data analysis of chip-level S2I.
