In a press release from Seoul Semiconductor, the LED maker announced that their Z-Power LED P4 series lights are being used as spotlights for the exhibits at the gallery. They pointed out that selecting the perfect lighting to display objets d'art without burning them up with too much heat or breaking down the components with too much ultraviolet radiation is a delicate process. Usually halogen lamps are fitted with filters to protect the exhibits at art galleries.
Seoul Semiconductor’s LEDs were chosen because they gave the optimal kind of light to bring out the colors and shapes of the art pieces, and because they only consumed 7.2 watts of power in contrast to the 50 watt halogen lamps previously used. Also, the S42180 Z-Power LED P4 series lights used have a coloring index of 93, which indicates a high level of natural expression of light colors.

Seoul Semiconductor is a globally-recognized LED manufacturer ranked sixth in the world in the high luminescence LED market by sales.
