One of the new fascinating technologies that is capturing the attention of the public in 2011 is the Motorola Xoom and so if you are looking for the next big thing in the tablet market, Xoom is here and defiantly different. The word on the net is that it is believed to be the best innovation since the iPad. The Motorola Xoom is set to launch on February 17 at a price of US$699. It will be introduced to the domestic market in South Korea sometime in April.
According to International Data Corp, the iPad accounted for 90 percent of the 4.8 million unit market in the third quarter of 2010 making the tablet market remain firmly in the hands of Apple's iPad. The new Xoom will be the first machine to run on the Honeycomb platform, the new version of Google's Android software and is sure to cause some stir in the computer industry.
