It was reported on May 11 that the International Symposium on Communication and Information Technology (ISCIT) 2009 will be held in Songdo, Incheon on Sept. 28-30.
ISCIT is sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), an international organization of experts in the electrotechnology field.
Kwak Kyung-sup, chairman of the ISCIT Organizing Committee - who is a professor at Inha University - said that the papers which will be published during the symposium have been published in Xplore, a world-renowned IEEE database. Paper subjects included such things as signal processing, communication systems, Very Large Scale Intergrated circuits, industrial applications, and new emerging fusion technology. Korea beat Japan in its bid to host the international symposium last year, Kwak added.
