Mr. Kim joined Korn/Ferry in 2006 as Client Partner and was promoted to Senior Client Partner in 2009. A member of the Firm's Global Technology Market, Mr. Kim leads the general practice for Korean companies and has helped to develop deep relationships with Korean conglomerates and MNCs.

Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Mr. Kim was chief executive officer of Metro Seoul Holdings, the Korean affiliate of Metro, the world's largest free daily newspaper. Before that, he was a consultant with Bain & Company and was involved in various projects with a focus on high-tech industries. He was also a member of the in-house consulting team in the chairman's office of SK Group, where he helped create corporate strategies and action plans for the company. Mr. Kim began his career with Accenture, where he worked as a consultant and business analyst as part of the process competency group.
An accomplished speaker and author, Mr. Kim holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with triple majors in finance, marketing and strategic marketing. He received his bachelor's degree in business administration, graduating early with honors, from Sogang University.
