Merck will be exhibiting its latest products and technologies involving the biotech and pharmaceutical industry at Bio Korea 2011 Conference and Exhibition in Seoul, Korea from September 28-30, 2011.
The Asia's largest biotech and pharmaceutical industry event co-hosted by Chungbuk Province, Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) and Korea International Trade Association (KITA) will be a place for Merck which acquired leading life science company Millipore last year to offer its comprehensive line of products, technologies and services for highly efficient and optimized processes in research labs and the biotech and pharmaceutical industry.
It also marks the first exhibition of Merck Millipore.
Visitors to the venue COEX Korea Exhibition Center will find Merck at Booth H27, where a team of Merck experts will be available to answer questions about raw materials and products regarding processing, refining and formulation, as well as for consulting and regulatory document support.
"The biotech industry, which recently came into the spotlight as a new growth engine, requires proven experience and know-how gained for many years and Merck Millipore will continue efforts to foster excellent human resources in the field to develop solutions and provide unique services," said Mr. Juergen Koenig, President/Representative Director of Merck Korea.
Merck Millipore will introduce a wide range of products and technologies along the value chain, including bio-processing technologies, as well as consulting services tailored to the needs of each company.
