Minnesota, USA -October 3, 2011 - Walmart announced on Monday that it will team up with T-Mobile in order to offer unlimited data plans -the existence of these are slowly diminishing as providers cut them out - and it will be only $30; if you look over your calling and data history and notice the trend of increasing texts and decreasing voice calls, it could be the perfect option for you! The plan would only include 100 minutes of voice calls; if you exceed this, it is 10 cents per minute. All you need to do is monitor your use and when it comes close to exceeding, simply use text messaging and web messages to communicate with others.

Although T-Mobile does not have the biggest selections of phones to offer -it will be only 6 phones as of the middle of October -, the phones are not bad quality; in fact, the Samsung Galaxy S is even within the list of phones! Prepaid phones used to only give out basic phones, but Walmart's T-Mobile has phones with advanced features and even smartphones. What is the best part There is even smartphones that are free! To see all the phones, visit your local store or browse for them on Walmart.com.
T-Mobile claims that the data speeds will be at 4G levels; the data limit is 5GB, so even the people who browse the web often are not likely to exceed it. Basically, users can send e-mails, browse the 'net, and do as much as they like without worrying too much about the cost.
So what pushed Walmart and T-Mobile to push for this new prepaid plan According to Amy McCune, T-Mobile's Vice President, demand for prepaid phone services are expected to double by 2015! Like most, I would like to get rid of my phone plan, so it is not surprising that this trend is expected to happen.
