Busan Cinema Center (Centum City) to the BIFF Village in Haeundae

Starting on October 6th, the 16th Busan International Film Festival will be held at the Busan Cinema Center located in Centum City and the BIFF Village in Haeundae.

 The Busan Cinema Center will welcome audiences for the first time at its outdoor theater space; in addition, this is where the Opening and Closing ceremonies will take place. The Outdoor Theater provides outdoor screenings in a comfortable space regardless of the weather. The main theaters located in the Cine Mountain will screen major programs including the Gala Presentation. A total of four theaters including the Haneulyeon Theater, Cinema 1, Cinema 2, and the Cinematheque will be in operation. The Dureraum Plaza, in front of the Cine Mountain, and the BIFF Village in Haeundae, will be the main spaces for outdoor events like Meet the Guest: Talk to Talk. Both venues will also function as a rest space for cinemagoers. BIFF Hill will be the place to go to see the press greet the stars, as it houses both the Press Center and the Guest Center.  

 Just like in previous years, the CGV Centum City, and LOTTE Cinema Centum City will be the main screening venues. The Community Media Center will be reserved for the elderly and the handicapped. At each of these locations, audiences will be able to enjoy and share the unique atmosphere of the Busan International Film Festival.

 BEXCO
The Asian Film Market and Busan Film Commission's main events will be held at BEXCO where a sales booth will be set up for the Asian Film Market. In addition to the Asian Project Market (APM), Talent Meeting, and Meeting/Pitching Event, workshops and showcases will also open at the BEXCO. The Asian Film Policy Forum hosted by the Busan Film Commission and BIFCOM will be held there to present a brand-new future for the audio-visual business and provide all the latest information on the international film industry.

Outdoor Stage for the Open Talk, Hand Printing, Outdoor Greeting Event, Special Events/PR Zone/Daum Lounge.

 The main events (Open Talk, Hand Printing, and Outdoor Greeting Events) will take place at the BIFF Village, in Haeundae. In front of the wide sandy stretch of Haeundae Beach, audiences will be able to directly communicate with directors and actors. In addition, there is a PR Zone in the BIFF Village that will hold diverse promotional and other events for cinema fans. MEGABOX Haeundae is another main theater where films will be screened.
