Minnesota, USA -October 27, 2011 - We heard multiple times that there will be an 'anti-Facebook' (as well as an anti-Google+) because companies such as these are known to sell users information in order to make a profit. Although these services appear to be free, they are not free in reality; if users would have known the hidden costs to using these services, would they have become as successful as they are right now Unthink.com just started its beta on a service - which would cost only $2/year when it officially opens - and give its users complete control and ownership over their own profiles; no need to worry about what happens to the data after users deactivate accounts and other similar situations.
Surprisingly, the rumor is that Unthink will have an app that could export the videos and photos from Facebook; however, Facebook tends to take down any pages and tools whatever is related to what could cause its business harm. If you can access the homepage of Unthink.com -sometimes it is bombarded by traffic and cannot open for everyone - it is best to sign up right away whenever you get access. Although I am still waiting for my e-mail for an invite, I hope it will be soon enough that I can jump on board and enjoy the fun!
It is concerning that Unthink cannot handle the internet traffic, but it is likely that the problem will be solved as the company gets more money; even Google started off as only having one server, so it is expected that this company will also grow over time and so will its popularity.
