Nexio has secured a patent on infrared touch screens.

SEOUL, KOREA --- Nexio, the powerhouse of infrared multi-touch technology, is grossing over USD 100,000 in sales by exporting its ‘Touch Time’ – a presentation software that allows free edits of texts and video clips based on touch technology – in overseas markets such as Singapore and Thailand, and is spurring exports to developed markets as well.

Established in 2002, Nexio has secured a patent on infrared touch screens and is supplying products of various sizes from 10.4 inches to 150 inches. The company's research division has acquired the necessary certifications for product credibility and safety in the infrared touch screen sector including ISO9001/14001, CE, FCC and GS (Good Software).

Nexio’s products, currently applied in the fields of digital signage, KIOSK, ATM, POS, GAME Machine and Electronic-board, are largely divided into infrared touch screen products, touch monitor products and software. The infrared touch screen products vary in size from 10.4 inches to 150 inches and are custom-developed to satisfy customers’ needs. The touch monitors are also supplied as options in either various sizes of industrial monitors from 10.4 inches to 23 inches or open-frame monitors from 15 inches to 26 inches. The industrial monitors are particularly resistant to outer scratches, humidity and impacts, and are designed to be used problem-free even in poor conditions.

Nexio’s flagship software ‘Touch Time’ uses multimedia files to provide more dynamic presentations. In particular, Touch Time integrates new technologies such as PIP (Picture in Picture) and MIM (Movie in Movie) which allows users to create and use content more easily than the past.

The company also recently launched its ‘A Series’ which features a variety of screen options. Performing at high response speeds, the A series come with four levels of multi-touch points, which can detect 2, 6, 12 and 32 points simultaneously. In addition, the new line comes with a thinner bezel than previous touch screens, which makes it much lighter to transport and install. And by completely supporting Microsoft Windows 7 Multi-touch feature, not only is gesturing such as screen-flipping and image-enlarging reduced, but a variety of applications such as Kiosk, educational programs and games are now compatible to run on the series.
