SEOUL, KOREA --- Established in 2002, Maxon Soft develops online and mobile games making their name in the global market more resounding than in Korea.

The company has taken the lead in the Korean fixed-mobile convergence game market by developing TTL Pingo, a fixed-mobile convergence game for TTL, and Ddinggo, a mobile game, in collaboration with SKT in 2002 when the company was still in its embryonic stage. The collaboration with major corporations shown by the web board game service via Nate of SK communications, for instance, served as a platform for the company’s growth.

Mic Mac Online, which was selected for “Preproduction support for good games” by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2003, led the company to sign a contract with Hyosung Group in Korea before exporting the game to Japan in 2006 helping Maxon Soft gain experience in overseas service.

In 2008, Asdar Story, a 3D online game developed from the company’s own 3D engine, advanced to the North American market and is now exported to 19 countries including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Brazil, Russia, and Middle East.

The success of Maxon Soft lies in their foresight to pioneer the emerging markets such as Brazil, Russia, Middle East and Africa while other major online game companies entered the Asian market including China and Japan. As a result, they became the third online game company in the Middle East market, expanding their domain and growing in the global market.

In 2011, the company challenged the smartphone contents market as a new business and developed an e-book publishing tool for smartphones and tablet PC to create app books. Particularly, the local culture contents based on the legends and folklores of Incheon will be actively promoted and provided in Korea and elsewhere, while the company is preparing for various app books after joining hands with a well-known publishing house.

In addition, Maxon Soft is developing a strategy management game optimized for N screen environment – World Heroes Online – and this project is going to be available through smart mobile platform as well as PC. “World Heroes Online” is yet under development to be released in 2012, but even before its release, Russia, Middle East, and Europe are already showing keen interest in this promising global project. In 2012, a bigger challenge and growth is awaiting Maxon Soft in the global market. Please visit www.maxonsoft.com for more information.
