Planmeca Group participates in organizing the World Championships in Ice Hockey this spring by providing a Planmed Verity® Extremity Scanner and Planmeca CompactTM i dental care unit for the on-site emergency room at Helsinki Arena.

 

 

 

The Planmed Verity extremity scanner is an all new approach to orthopedic imaging that helps to detect the often missed fractures in the extremities. Planmed Verity acquires an accurate 3D image with a lower radiation dose than traditional CTs. Thanks to its anatomy-specific design, Planmed Verity also offers a unique new application: weight-bearing imaging. Planmed Verity has been designed and manufactured by Planmed Oy in Helsinki, Finland.
