Amy was driving home from work. Her daughter, Laci, was in the passenger seat listening to her iPod. Suddenly there was an exploding sound and the car jerked violently forwards into the car in front. She heard her daughter crying. They had been hit by a truck from behind at 80kph. The truck driver told the police he didn’t see them, and that Amy was to blame for her carelessness. Luckily Amy had a black box (otherwise known as an event data recorder) installed in her car. By using the data gathered from the blackbox, she was able to prove that the truck driver was at fault.

Why choose Sunin Unitech’s blackbox

There is a company renowned in Korea for producing quality blackboxes to help protect you and your family. The blackboxes sold at Sunin Unitech (KOTRA Seal of Excellence) are an excellent and smart buy.

Sunin Unitech’s greatest vision is to cater for the growing needs of many everyday drivers’ vehicle security and safety concerns. They provide only the best and Korean standard “blackbox solutions” for your vehicle so that every user is satisfied with the simple ways of dealing with those ‘unforeseen’ situations that are often difficult and tricky to define. In comparison with other Blackbox brands, Sunin Unitech offers much more than your usual car drive recorder and has so many additional features thus meeting the highest expectations of their customers.

The blackboxes of Sunin Unitech contain a built-in 3-G Sensor that shows if the accident occurred in the front, side or rear. The 3-G sensor also contains an event folder to store video recordings when impacts occur. It can change the video into a separate folder from the normal recording folder and prevents it from overriding the folder’s saved files. These blackboxes are capable of recording fifteen or more different types of information such as speed, whether the driver was wearing his seatbelt, airbag deployment, if the brakes were used, etc. Information from these devices can be collected after a crash and analyzed to help determine what the vehicles were doing before, during and after the crash or event. Some advanced models can even track driving habits for days at a time. Sunin Unitech also provides blackboxes for diesel trucks. By using Sunin’s blackbox, it triggers electronically sensed problems in the engine, or a sudden change in wheel speed. One or more of these conditions may occur because of an accident.

Benefits of a blackbox

Having a blackbox not only gives information to who was at fault, it also serves as a tool for insurers to easily assess what actually happened so that victims may receive appropriate compensation.

The seconds right before and after a car crash are often the most valuable in determining what went wrong and who or what was at fault. Though onlookers and victims of the accident may take photos after the wreck, it does not clearly give an answer to the cause. Nowadays there's often a silent observer capable of monitoring crucial details, which is your black box. This box can provide authorities with necessary information during the aftermath of a car crash and can also be used for accident reconstruction.

Members of the Sunin Unitech team are experts in the “blackbox field” and are devoted to creating quality, new, and advanced products to fit the needs of their customers. Sunin Unitech is located in Namyangju-City, Gyeonggi-do and invites you to check out their variety of blackbox models to see what best fits your needs and budget.
