
The Asian Card Summit will kick start the conference and at 10.00 am on 28 March and feature adiscussion by six top-executives from Gemalto, Oberthur Technologies, China Union Pay, Eurosmart, Ingenico and Watchdata on smart card trends and forecasts. Directly after the Summit the Winner of The Asian SESAMES Award will be revealed. The SESAMES rewards the most innovative product or application developed for the Asian Pacific market in the field of smart cards, digital security, identification, secure transactions, and contactless technology. Finalists include GO-TRUST, Oberthur Technologies, KEOLABS, Smart Packaging Solutions and Watchdata Technologies. The first day will finish with a cocktail event for exhibitors and visitors to network and do business in a relaxed atmosphere.
Exhibitors from mainland China, Hong Kong, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, UAE, United Kingdom and the US are due to participate in the exhibition.
Mainland China company Watchdata will be showcasing their breakthrough NFC solution, SIMpass-SC, which provides one of the most elegant, practical and cost-effective ways to deploy contactless mobile payment technology in existing mobile phone handsets. Watchdata develop innovative electronic payment methods for public transportation, telecom, banking, financial services and mobile payment technologies.
Germany’s Atlantic Zeiser plan to showcase its high productivity smart card personalisation solutions for ID Cards, Prepaid Cards, Debit Cards and other types of financial cards, Gift Cards, Multi-voucher scratch cards or lottery applications.
French company Keynectis will be showcasing its IT security software that provides enterprises and governments with software and services for authentication and electronic signature ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of documents of probative and legal value.
