NEW YORK, USA- Korean Cultural Service NY is reaching out to performers/performing arts organizations in New York, who want to perform at Gallery Korea inside Korean Cultural Service New York. The selected performers/performing groups will be featured in one performing arts series in 2012. Deadline for submission is April 27th, 2012.
This ‘Open Stage 2012’ is open to all performers/performing groups, regardless of age, race, religion, national origin, gender or physical disability as well as any type of genre, such as classic, jazz, Korean traditional music, dance, etc. Applicants can sign up for the ‘Open Stage 2012’ as an individual or a group.
The applications will be reviewed carefully by jurors including critics and performing arts directors in May, 2012 and the finalists will be informed individually shortly after the review process is completed.
For the finalists, Korean Cultural Service NY will write and distribute a press release (unless one is provided), printed invitations, and a small reception for the performance. Miscellaneous other costs must be covered by the performer/performance group.
Applications should include: the application form (available at www.koreanculture.org) and other materials that you might want to show us. Please send the application by mail or drop-off in person. We do not accept online application.
