Korea s Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) has approved 52 words, such as web mail , pharming , and fake file, as standard terminology among approximately. 450 IT lemmata, in the 1st IT terminology standardization screening committee held on August 5. Among the 52 terminologies, the Spatial Imagery Information System: (SIIS), the de jure standard, accredited register, multi boot etc. are included. Such standard terminologies are serviced through the TTA homepage (http://word.tta.or.kr) or distributed via the IT terminology dictionary that the TTA publishes or produces on CD-ROM.
