Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology 2011

GUANGZHOU, CHINA — With the commitment of key exhibitors, Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology(GEBT), taking place from 9 – 12 June 2012 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China, will be the premier annual event for the domestic building technology community. The show will comprise of two themes in building technology, electrical engineering as well as home and building automation.

Over 230 leading companies will participate in this year’s show. Global players include, Schneider Electric (France), Legrand (France), Lewin (France), KNX China (Belgium), EnOcean GmbH (Germany), Tiansu Automation (China), Dynalite (Australia), ELKO (Germany), Thermokon (Germany), Beckhoff (Germany), Hedong Electronics Co (China), Lite Puter Technology (Taiwan), Weiland Electric (Germany), Predictive Service (Hong Kong), Vity Technology (France), Echelon Technology (USA), DAE Instrument (Taiwan), Ningbo Dooya (China), AUCA (Australia), Jiale Electronic Appliance (China), Futina Electrical (China), and Songri Electric (China).

With the fast-paced growth of China’s “intelligent” building market, these companies see the Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology fair as one of the key gateways to China’s demand. This year’s show will occupy 18,000 sqm of exhibition space – an 80% increase from 2011.

Fringe programmes seek to connect attendees with key industry players. To further enrich the 2012 show for both visitors and exhibitors, Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd has organised a series of fringe programmes.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology Symposium 2012 is co-organised by the Guangdong Association of Automation, this symposium will offer a selection of seminars covering future trends in China’s intelligent building and home automation markets.

KNX Technical Seminar will focus on communication standards for home and building control systems. Co-organised by the KNX Association, the seminar is targeted towards architects, contractors, electrical engineers, designers and building planners.

Our face-to-face networking platform will be hosted this year by various influential industry associations. Attendees will have the chance to learn the latest market information, exchange views and discuss leading industry topics. Participating associations include: Macau Construction Association (Macau), The Federation of Asian and Pacific Electrical Contractors Associations (Asia-Pacific), Asian Institute of Intelligent Buildings (Hong Kong), Continental Automated Buildings Association (Canada), KNX Association (Belgium)

Targeted towards China’s real estate industry, the forum will present application and development trends in intelligent green building. This event is co-organised by Guangdong Real Estate Association.

A wide range of topics will be covered at this event, including sustainable city development, green building technology, intelligent building and much more. The conference is jointly organised by the Asian Institute of Intelligent Buildings (AIIB) with supporting organisations include: Institute for Building Environment and Energy Conservation (Japan), Taiwan Intelligent Building Association (Taiwan), Continental Automated Buildings Association (Canada), Huddersfield University (UK), Yau Lee Construction (Hong Kong), Macau Properties and Facilities Management Association (Macau), Hong Kong Green Building Council (Hong Kong), China Green Building Council Intelligent Green Group (China), The Association of Energy Engineers - HK Chapter (AEE-HKC), Hong Kong Association of Energy Service Companies (HAESCO)

Jointly organised by the China Smart Home Industry Alliance, leaders and experts will introduce the latest standardisation of IoT strategic emerging industry on the smart home development. Application of advanced IoT technology in home and building automation will be demonstrated. For visitors looking to spot innovative products in building technology, this event will bring them together with exhibitors presenting groundbreaking work. It will also give attendees a chance to network with industrial suppliers and partners.

Our tailor-made matchmaking programme will help attendees make appointments with target exhibitors in advance to guarantee business goals and find the right products.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology is held concurrently with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition – the largest lighting show in Asia. The 2012 show will also be held simultaneously with Building Solar China – Conference and Exhibition, which will showcase integrated solar and smart technology solutions for building technology. This new event will present a range of innovations, including building integrated photovoltaic products (BIPV), solar thermal products, Combined Heat and Power (CHP) and much more. Together, the three exhibitions will provide a diverse selection of business opportunities under one roof. All three fairs are part of Messe Frankfurt’s architecture and technology shows, headed by the biennial Light+Building event in Frankfurt, Germany.
