SEOUL, KOREA - The Millennium Seoul Hilton’s international buffet restaurant, Orangerie, is showcasing the cuisine of the Philippines for two weeks from June 9th through 23rd. The buffet will feature traditional Filipino dishes created by Filipino Celebrity Chef Myrna Dizon Segismundo.

Chef Segismundo is a highly celebrated chef who works hard to promote Filipino cuisine both locally and internationally. She has appeared on numerous television cooking shows, has authored several books (including Kulinarya: A Guide to Philippine Cooking), and is managing director of Restaurant 9501, an award-winning restaurant that specializes in both Filipino and International cuisines. Enjoy this special opportunity to enjoy authentically-prepared Filipino food!

Though not as well-known as its Asian counterparts, the cuisine of the Philippines has many influences from Malaysia, Spain, China, India, etc. due to many years of colonization as well as its strategic location in the Asian-Pacific Rim, making the cuisine as varied as it is delicious. Like in most Asian countries, rice is the staple of the Filipino diet, which is accompanied by boldly flavoured dishes.

The Orangerie lunch buffet is priced at KW60,000 for adults and KW36,000 for children aged 12 and under. The dinner buffet is priced at KW65,000 for adults and KW39,000 for children aged twelve and under. Tax and service charge is included in these prices.

Also, every Monday is Kid’s Day at Orangerie. Children twelve years and younger are able to eat for free when accompanied by an adult (1 child per adult). Orangerie has a fun play area where the children can play when they are finished eating.

Orangerie’s international buffet offers a vast array of international fare in a cheerful and open environment. Specially designed buffet units incorporate air cooled food showcases for maximum freshness, and specialty stations feature made-to-order pasta, Korean noodles and a carvery and meat grill. Private dining rooms are available.

For reservations or enquiries, please call Orangerie at (02) 317-3143.
