Korea BMC offers clients best service in infrastructure management solutions BMC Korea offers its clients top quality services in the infrastructure management solution and IT service management (ITSM) sectors. In the infrastructure management solution, it deals with system, network, database, and such applications as ERP and CRM.
The company has placed the focus in the service management sector on the use of BMC AtriumCMDB. It is an open-type CMDB solution observing the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) for the first time in the industry and plays a role of a central storage for deposit of composition information. Deposited data include assets, monitoring, manageable composition factors, logical & physical relations, and definition of service-level contract. Through this, it can consistently build such IT process management as incident, problem, change, composition, assets and service impact management. BMC Korea plans to make the best use of its CMDB technology, which has advanced six months or one year ahead of its competitors. It plans to extend supports in the trouble, problem, change, composition management, and service-level management areas through the Remedy ITSM angeulSupport 6.0 Version and Enterprise CMDB Solution, called the Atrium CMDB product. For the new version, it will add many useful functions, convenience of use, and improvement of GUI, while strengthening the SLM sector. In the infrastructure management part, BMC Korea will pursue low cost & high-efficient infrastructure and application management through BMC Performance Manager products. By using epoch-making DBMS backup and recovery solution, it will shorten the backup and recovery time by four times and seven times, respectively, to the maximum, protecting customersbusinesses in a state of emergency. In particular, it will simplify a license system to be flexibly applied to a variety of infrastructures held by customers. It plans to provide customers with a remarkable reduction in TCO by guaranteeing speedier return on investment (ROI) and offering technologies that can or cannot load Agent simultaneously. BMC Korea plans to classify customers according to sales volume, system management and investment volume in software. As for customers with large investment volume in software and big sales, it will supply ITSM and BSM products simultaneously and add other products that can offer additional value. In the SMB market, it will push for specialized SMB business centering on products achieving speed ROI through specialized business partners. By classifying customers into decision-makers, middle-class managers and those in charge of business, BMC Korea plans to apply classified marketing strategies such as the BSM strategy, issue-oriented seminar and product-centered user group to customers.
