You need to look no further than a modern day hospital to understand how fast technology is changing in the medical field. In order to keep up, companies can either stay up to date with current trends, or get lost in the dust. Since 1980, JPI has understood that the former route is the key to success, and has been developing innovative products in the x-ray field ever since.

GRID and JP Series

‘Grid’ is a core component of x-ray digital radiography, designed to remove scattered radiation that occurs when x-rays pass through a subject in order to provide clearer images and higher accuracy while diagnosing patients’ medical issues. JPI has used their more than thirty years experience to perfect this technology. The Grid 1000 from JPI is at the technological forefront of ensuring superior efficiency in removing scattered radiation.  Grid improves the transmission rate, which in turns reduces the Bucky factor, ultimately reducing patient exposure. On top of this, its superior quality images are ultimately achieved by using aluminum inter-spacers and lead strips that are precisely milled to uniformity. Clear Vision models are among JPI's flagship products.

Proven Quality

JPI’s quality and technology have been proven against the competition, as the company’s x-ray and JP series have been selected as the World’s Best Products by the Korean government, as well as the company’s engineers nominated as ‘Engineer of the Month’ by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. JPI are also the recipients of the Kotra Seal of Excellence. The company has also licensed their products to a variety of well-known companies including Dell, GE Healthcare, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and Canon.

Along with two other companies from Japan and the Netherlands, these three companies have combined to dominate the global x-ray market, holding 80 to 90 percent of overall market shares. In China, JPI accounts for approximately 70 percent of market shares. Last year, the company surpassed 15 billion won in sales, and 85 percent of this total was accounted for via overseas exports. The company is aiming to attain 20 billion won in sales this year.
