Within the carbon business division, there are two subdivisions. These are friction materials including aircraft brake disks, automotive clutch disks, and automotive brake disks, as well as super-high temperature composites including high purity tiles, industrial products, and carbon ceramic products. The carbon ceramic brake disk is of particular importance as they are 50% lighter than iron brake disks thus offering increased fuel efficiency and drivability.
The aerospace business division includes a variety of bonding parts and control products. The defense division is comprised of launched canisters and lightweight structures, while the high pressure and precision product division focuses on hydrogen storage tanks, high-pressure cylinders, and LCD carbon rollers amongst others.
