The National Agricultural Cooperatives Federation (NACF) said on March 19 that it plans to place an order for the 50 billion won ($51 million) Business Process Redesign (PBR) project, the biggest financial IT project ever.
Related to this, NACF recently finalized the consulting work for the BPR project with Samil PwC and plans to invite enterprises to a public bidding for the project at the end of March.
Under the PBR project, NACF plans to apply document management and imaging system to deposit, receipt, foreign exchange and overdue loan management businesses at its 1,000 branches across the country in an attempt to maximize the business effectiveness.
In the public bidding, a number of enterprises, including Samsung SDS, LG CNS, Korea FileNet, Korea HP, Korea IBM, Korea EMC and Hyosung Information System, are expected to compete fiercely.
