Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, was not surprisingly selected as the most admired company in Korea for the third consecutive year. On April 17, Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) announced that, after a survey of more than 8,000 consumers and persons in industries and securities companies, Samsung Electronics was selected as "the most admired company." KMAC explained that Samsung Electronics was chosen as number one because it received high scores in such areas as innovations and deference to customers and shareholders.
