Google has released its reference tablet Nexus 7 32-GB model in Korea. Google Korea announced on December 20 that it will release Nexus 7 32-GB models following the earlier marketing of 16-GB Nexus 7 models in October.
The 32-GB Nexus 7 models are available at offline malls such as Lotte Mart and Hi Mart stores, as well as online shopping malls. The retail price of the 32-GB Nexus 7 model is estimated at 359,000 won.
The Nexus 7 is mounted with a hardware designed by Taiwan’s personal computer maker Asus and Google’s latest Android operating system JellyBean. With a 7-inch screen that has a definition of 1280x800, the Nexus 7 allows users to enjoy games with a Quad Core processor.
With a 4325mAh battery, the Nexus 7 permits users to enjoy HD-class video for 9 hours, reading for 10 hours, web browsing for 10 hours, and music for up to 50 hours. The Nexus 7 also supports Gyroscope, electronic compass, GPS, and NFC. The Nexus 7 is best-optimized for Google’s mobile services.

구글 '넥서스7' 32GB 출시…롯데ㆍ하이마트서 35만9000원
구글의 레퍼런스(기준이 되는 제품) 태블릿인 '넥서스7' 32GB 모델이 국내에 출시됐다.
구글코리아는 지난 10월부터 판매를 시작한 16GB 넥서스7에 이어 32GB 제품을 새롭게 내놓는다고 20일 밝혔다. 롯데마트, 하이마트 등 온라인 쇼핑몰과 오프라인 매장에서 모두 구입할 수 있다. 가격은 35만9000원.
넥서스7은 대만의 PC제조업체인 에이수스(Asus)가 설계한 하드웨어에 구글의 최신 안드로이드 운영체제(OS)인 젤리빈을 탑재했다. 1280*800 해상도의 7인치 화면을 갖췄고 쿼드코어 프로세서로 게임 등을 생동감 있게 즐길 수 있다.
배터리는 4325mAh로 HD 비디오 재생 9시간, 독서 10시간, 웹브라우징 10시간, 음악재생 50시간 등을 제공한다. 자이로스코프, 전자나침반, GPS, NFC 등도 지원한다.
구글플레이, 지메일, 구글어스, 유튜브, 안드로이드 전용 구글 지도 등 구글의 모바일 서비스 사용에 편리하도록 최적화돼 있다.
