Interview highlight HanbitSoft's dream to become 'Global No.1 Publisher' through export promotion With great international expectations, HanbitSoft Inc. is taking part in E3, with games such as 'Granado Espada', "NewBaseBall', and 'Hellgate: London'. Through E3, the company plans to unveil its activities about 'Hellgate: London' which aims to launch at the second half of the year. Along with this, the activity for worldwide publishing of 'Granado Espada' too which HanbitSoft is publishing at home, is a big axis at E3 to be held in LA. HanbitSoft Inc. CEO Kim Young-man said that the company plans to promote Granada Espada's worldwide publishing to Europe and the American continent, which creates a big sensation at home and in Japan at present. Besides Granado Espada, it is also one of the important goals at E3 that the company wishes to seek new partners for new games like 'NewBaseBall' whose worldwide copyright is owned by HanbitSoft Inc., Kim underlines. In conjunction with this, the president pointed out: "The most pivotal thing in international business is to meet good partners", stressing that all games' localization must be attained well suitably to service nations and how localization can be achieved, decides a real globalization. As for HanbitSoft's exhibition games at E3, in the case of 'Granado Espada', its open beta service is under way in Korea and Japan right now and its accumulated exports are amounting already to $20 million in 12 countries. Hellgate: London is the first original title from premier developer Flagship Studios published by HanbitSoft, according to Kim. Hellgate: London is a new perspective on RPGs, combining the depth and customizability of Role-Playing games with the immersive excitement of first-person games. Its play is fast-paced without relying upon lightning-fast reflexes to achieve a high level of success or enjoyment. The first online baseball game "Neo baseball" provides baseball fans as well as game users with more excitement and enthusiasm than real baseball matches. "Cartoon-like online baseball game, you can be a team owner" is the catch phrase of Neo baseball. While prior baseball games represent simulation games close to reality, Neo baseball shows variety of events beyond reality.., explained the persons in charge of marketing at HanbitSoft. Against the background of successful inroads into Japan, China, and Taiwan, HanbitSoft's online game is advancing into not only Southeast Asian countries like Thailand and Indonesia, but also into up to the Oceania region such as Australia & New Zealand recently including the continents of America like the U.S & Mexico, Kim explains. As of now, HanbitSoft exports its online game to 16 countries globally, and the company is focusing on becoming 'Global No.1 Publisher'.
