
Kang Dai-young, the head of the telecommunication radio wave broadcasting policy headquarters of the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) who was selected as an official of excellent merit in the evaluation of government work last year, received the Hongjogeunjeong Hoonjang (Medal). Lee Gi-joo, the PR management officer who was also selected as an official of excellent merit in the evaluation, received the same medal.
Park Yoon-hyeon, the head of the Information Strategy Team, and Kim Yeong-soo, manager of Postal Policy in the Postal Service Business Headquarters, each received the Geunjeong Pojang (Medal).
On May 16, all of them received the medals and prizes from Roh Joon-hyung, minister of information and communication, in a ceremony for presenting rewards based on the evaluation of government work in 2005 in the minister's room on the 14th floor of MIC headquarters.
On the same day, Minister Roh also delivered rewards worth 382 million won to be distributed to section heads of the headquarters of MIC and heads of subsidiary organizations.
