Yujin Robot Showcases Korean-made Robot's Superiority at RoboWorld Cup

Boost seen for robots' popularity at "Robot World 2006" in Seoul, Oct. 2006 By providing participating teams at the FIRA RoboWorld Cup with robots to promote the RoboWorld Cup, Yujin Robot (www.yujinrobot.com) is globally showcasing Korea's robot industry, taking the lead compared with Japan in terms of the industrialization of Intelligent Robots. Yujin Robot aims to accomplish its revenue of $41 million this year including $2.5 million from industrial robot system, $20 million from Cleaning robot, $4 million from network home robot, and $2 million from entertainment robot. As part of plans to promote robot culture among the people, president Shin who serves as chairman of the Board of Korea Association of Robotics (KAR) too, with the objective of an industrial growth and a development of Robot and Robotrelated industries by solving technical problems through sharing information lively in close cooperation one another, is setting great expectations on "Robot World 2006" to be held on Oct. 18~21, this year in Seoul, in which there will be three categories such as Robot exhibition, Robot Competition, and Robot Conference and a total of 400 robot companies at home and abroad will take part.
