SEOUL, KOREA - LG Electronics is stepping up efforts to create bigger presence in the North American system air-conditioner market by releasing a string of new high-efficiency models.The company announced that it will display about 20 kinds of new high-efficiency system air-conditioners in the world’s largest air-conditioning exhibition AHR Expo scheduled to be held for three days from January 28 to 30 in Dallas, the United States.
LG Electronics will display, among others, high-efficiency inverter multi-systems—Multi F Max and Art Cool Premier. The Multi F Max is a high-efficiency model that achieved a SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) 18.4. It is optimized for small- and medium-sized buildings as it allows users to adjust heating and cooling for up to eight different spaces.
With the Multi F Max, LG Electronics plans to make aggressive forays into a small-building system air conditioner market in North America which has been growing at a rapid pace in recent days.

LG전자가 고효율 신제품을 앞세워 북미 시스템에어컨 시장 공략을 강화한다.
LG전자는 28일(현지시간)부터 30일까지 미국 댈러스에서 열리는 세계 최대 공조 전문 전시회 '아쉬레 엑스포'에 참가해 고효율 시스템에어컨 신제품 20여 종을 선보인다고 밝혔다.
전시회의 주력 제품은 고효율 인버터 멀티 시스템인 '멀티 F 맥스'(MUTI F MAX)와 '아트 쿨 프리미어'(Art Cool Premier) 등이다.
멀티 F 맥스는 에너지 효율 기준인 SEER(Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) 18.4를 구현한 고효율 제품이다. 최대 8개 공간을 자유롭게 냉방 및 난방을 조절 할 수 있어 중소형 상업용 빌딩에 적합하다.
LG전자는 이 제품으로 최근 북미 시장에서 빠르게 성장하고 있는 중소형 빌딩의 시스템에어컨 시장을 적극 공략할 계획이다.
가정용 및 소형 상업 시설용 에어컨 주력 모델인 아트 쿨 프리미어는 북미 최고 효율인 SEER 28을 구현한 제품이다. 소음도 도서관 수준의 절반인 17dB로 줄였다.
이 밖에 개별 공간에서 냉방과 난방을 동시에 가동할 수 있는 '멀티 브이 워터 2 히트 리커버리', 초고층 빌딩용 '멀티 브이 스페이스'(Multi V Space) 등 중대형 시스템에어컨도 선보였다.
이감규 LG전자 AE사업본부 시스템에어컨사업부 전무는 "세계 최고 수준의 고효율 기술력을 바탕으로 북미 시스템에어컨 시장을 공략해 나갈 것"이라고 말했다.
