SEOUL, KOREA - SEMA Electronics said on January 28 that it would introduce an external hard disk drive "Storylink K3" as the first model for its premium brand Storylink series. SEMA is a startup that has been spun off from Samsung Electronics to supply external/internal floppy disk drives, card readers, and other storage devices.

The Storylink K3 is capable of being switched to the automatic sleep mode within one minute, maintaining the status of no noise, no vibration, and no electromagnetic waves. In addition, it comes with a separate power on/off switch for the driver's data protection and power saving. SEMA offers a two-year warranty for the K3's inner parts and the outer case.
Kim Jin-ho, manager with SEMA Electronics, said, "The new Storylink K3 that we recently launched combines Samsung's technical prowess with latest user needs, including the 1-minute auto sleep mode."
The K3 will come in four different colorspiano black, wine red, snow white, and rose blackand will be available in major online shopping malls including G-Market, Auction, 11st, and Interpark.
