SEOUL, KOREA - LG U+ is set to release a new personal-type cloud service through cooperation with a mobile messenger KakaoTalk. The company announced on January 31 that its cloud service “U+ Box” is mounted on KakaoTalk’s “Chatting Plus."

Chatting Plus is a chatting platform of KakaoTalk that connects users directly to games, cameras, and fortunetelling service through a chat window.
Through Chatting Plus, LG U+ will provide a variety of services, including the sharing of 300 photos with a single click, the sharing and encoding of 300-MB videos, and the creation of photo books.
In particular, the photos and videos shared through U+ Box can be checked through web-based viewers even on the screens of smartphones and desktops that are not installed with KakaoTalk.
