SEOUL, KOREA - Korea's major external hard disk drive maker Saro Tech said on February 1 that it has introduced a new multi-card reader model "Alio" SDR-IN36U3. Capable of supporting USB 3.0, the card reader can read most memory cards used in digital devices such as mobile phone, smartphone, laptop computer, netbook, and digital camera.

The Alio, made for the 3.5-inch drive bay of a desktop computer, provides six slots including MicroSD, M2, Extreme Digital, SD/MMC, CF, MS, as well as the USB 3.0 port. One of the best features that the Alio boasts is that it is capable of working concurrently while existing card reader models cannot read data simultaneously from more than two devices. It can also copy and transfer data across two memory cards.
The Alio's suggested retail price is 35,000 won and it is available on major online shopping malls such as G-Market, Auction, 11st, and Interpark, as well as the company's official shopping site at shop.sarotech.com.
