SEOUL, KOREA – On Wednesday, Hanwha S&C (a Korean provider of information technology services) announced that it would embark on a project to build a next-generation deduction system for National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK).
This KRW25 billion project will be carried out for 18 months until 2014. Leveraging its experiences in operating information systems and participating in next-generation business projects for Hanwha Group affiliates like Hanwha Life Insurance and Hanwha General Insurance Co, Hanwha S&C will build up a custom-tailored information system for the NACUFOK.
A Hanwha S&C official said, “We have reinforced our entry into the financial system integration (SI) sector since last year. Hanwha S&C will successfully execute this project to improve the NACUFOK’s work productivity and sales competitiveness.” On Tuesday, 200 officials from both companies, including Jin-hwan Lim (Executive Vice President of Financial Business Division at Hanwha S&C) and Hee-yong Lee (an administrative director from the NACUFOK), got together in Daejeon to share the goal of the project and strategies.
