SEOUL, KOREA - Of late, laptop computer prices are in excess of 1 million won especially after the launch of ultrabooks. In order to satisfy the needs of budget-conscious laptop shoppers, 3S System, the local sales agency of Toshiba computers, has introduced laptops in the 300,000-won range with high-performance specs.
Usually low-end laptop computers are mounted with slower-speed processors and smaller-sized RAM and hard disk drives. But Toshiba's Satellite C840 (model named PSC6CK-036005) comes with the latest Ivy Bridge Intel third-generation Celeron Dual-Core 1000M process, providing powerful performance at low price. It has adopted a 14-inch display with a 1366x768 resolution.
The Satellite C840 has improved user convenience with USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI port. The user must select an operating system of her choice as the computer does not come equipped with a factory-installed operating system. A 3S System official said, "This is an ideal choice for those practical-minded consumers who want value for their money."
