SEOUL, KOREA - Nexen Tire released a brand-new SUV premium tire N'FERA RU5 on February 20. The N'FERA is Nexen Tire's new UHP brand series. The name comes from a compound word created by combining "N" the first letter of Nexen with the Latin word "FERA" meaning "wild" or "galloping."
By using an asymmetric-pattern technology, the N'FERA is designed to improve handling performance on a slippery road, as well as to ensure stable and safe driving on various hazardous road conditions.
A Nexen Tire official said, "N'FERA is designed to evenly distribute ground contact pressure, thereby minimizing rotation resistance and improving fuel efficiency. The N'FERA boasts superior driving performance, environment-friendliness, and higher economic value."
