SEOUL, KOREA – A pavilion named “Korea App” has been put up at the MWC 2013 for the first time to help Korean content developers promote their products.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) and Korea Creative Contents Agency (KOCCA) said 20 Korean contents developed by 14 Korean companies are put on display at the four-day MWC 2013 in Barcelona.
Korea App, located at the App Planet Hall, is designed to showcase various smart culture contents that have been deeply intertwined with our daily life.
Unlike pavilions set up for other nations like Israel, France, Canada, India, etc., Korea App is dedicated especially to content.
Korea App is divided into three sections (games, culture and life) where visitors can have hands-on experiences with mobile games, smart books and interactive movies developed by 14 Korean companies.
An official from the MCST said, “Thanks to the installation of Korea App, small- and medium-sized Korean content developers have great opportunities to proactively introduce their content to smart device-related companies, publishers and the media overseas.”
