SEOUL, KOREA – Traditional Korean medicine will go smarter thanks to IT convergence. From now on, customers of the Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine (Korea’s largest oriental medical hospital specializing in non-surgical treatment of spine and joint disorders) will be provided with custom-tailored herb medicine healthcare contents through LG U+’s fixed wireless communications infrastructures.
LG U+ and the Jaseng Hospital of Oriental Medicine will jointly push for a smart healthcare project based on traditional Korean medicine.
On Tuesday, the two signed an MoU on a joint smart healthcare project that will combine fixed wireless ICT with traditional Korean medicine.
The project will allow customers to access various contents such as oriental medicine healthcare tips and spine stretching exercises anywhere and anytime via smart devices like smartphones, Internet phones and IPTV.
Furthermore, the two plan to press on with varied projects to make traditional Korean medicine smarter. For instance, a new CRM system will be set up to facilitate efficient communication between doctors and patients.
