SEOUL, KOREA - Global luxury brand Infiniti’s first performance zero emission luxury sedan, Infiniti LE concept. April 5, 2012, Infiniti unveiled its dramatic new Infiniti LE Concept, a near-production version of the performance luxury brand’s first zero emission luxury sedan at 2012 New York International Auto Show. This luxury 5-seat sedan is Infiniti's ultimate expression of future mobility: powerful electric propulsion with zero emission, luxury design, organic styling, and effortless wireless charging. More than just fantasy, the Infiniti LE Concept becomes reality in 2014.
Zero emission, zero cables, 100% luxury. Because Infiniti believes true luxury should always be intuitive -- not intrusive. The Infiniti LE Concept features advanced wireless charging that's completely hands free. There are no plugs or cables to handle, making charging utterly effortless. Intelligent Park Assist automatically guides the vehicle into the perfect position over the wireless charging pad, guaranteeing the most efficient, simplest charge possible.
The LE Concept’s dramatic exterior blends distinctive Infiniti design cues, such as its double-arch grille and crescent-cut rear-pillar, with EV aerodynamic efficiency to create a sleek, emotional silhouette. The strong shoulder line, which directs the eye from front to rear, expresses a dynamic, elegant flowing movement. The beautifully balanced proportions represent an efficient dynamic form as a new definition of luxury.
Infiniti is the first global luxury brand with a challenger mentality as they are proving that luxury at the next level can be both gorgeous and zero emission. In the past, Infiniti created a new segment car with high performance luxury vehicles, and now Infiniti is expanding the high performance luxury EV market and pioneering a new future.
