SEOUL, KOREA - Representing the compact class with a heart of intelligent “Big-Car”: Mercedes Benz, The New B Class
One of the most comprehensive model changes ever undertaken by Mercedes-Benz, the B-Class represents a quantum leap for the compact class. At its heart lies a raft of intelligent “big-car” technology including Attention Assist and, standard for the first time on a car in this class, Collision Prevention Assist. In fact, the B-Class now offers the possibility of up to ten advanced assistance systems. Class-leading aerodynamics of just 0.26 Cd are another string to the B-Class bow, coupled with super efficient engines and transmissions. As a result, CO2 emissions are up to 26 percent lower than its predecessor. It also features its first diesel models with advanced turbo charging technology.
This latest B-Class is simply longer, lower and wider than the previous model. Plus, the B-Class also provides a cool, contemporary interior style with high quality materials and finishes, which are normally associated with its larger models. The legroom in the rear seats actually surpasses that of an S-Class or an E-Class and, with all seats in place, load capacity is 486 liters. Should more space be required, the versatile interior can be easily rearranged.
Inside the B-Class, the large 5.8” display lets you manage all your entertainment and navigation functions using the central controller. The B-Class comes with the Audio 20 CD/radio system as standard, featuring Bluetooth® and USB connectivity, plus pre-wiring for the optional Becker® Map Pilot navigation device. This connects to a cradle in the glove compartment, instantly upgrading Audio 20 to a navigation system with full 7-digit postcode entry. Alternatively, the optional COMAND Online system combines advanced navigation with fast internet connectivity. So you can access online content from the comfort of your B-Class. Other options include a DAB digital radio tuner and Harman/Kardon® surround sound system.
