SEOUL, KOREA – On April 5, KakaoTalk popular game Bow for Kakao surpassed the KRW 10 billion mark in cumulative sales in 88 days, according to 4:33 Creative Lab, the developer of Bow.
Building on the domestic success of its game, 4:33 Creative Lab is poised to export Bow for Kakao to overseas markets like China and Southeast Asian nations.
Bow for Kakao is a real-time battle game that utilizes gravitational sensors. As over 140 million Bow battles have been held a day, Bow has indeed opened a new chapter in the real-time network game industry.

하루 1400만판 신화를 만들어낸 `활 포 카카오(활 for KAKAO)`가 출시 88일 만인 지난 5일 누적매출 100억원을 달성했다고 제작사 네시삼십삼분(대표 양귀성•소태환)이 8일 밝혔다.
앞으로 중국, 동남아 등 해외 시장으로 저변을 넓힌다.
실시간 대전게임인 활 포 카카오는 중력센서를 이용하는 모바일 게임이다. 하루 1400만판 이상의 대전이 열려 실시간 네트워크 게임의 새로운 장을 연 게임으로 평가받는다.
소태환 대표는 “유저 간 대결이라는 명확한 컨셉트가 카카오의 소셜 플랫폼을 만나 폭발력을 갖게 됐다”며 “지속적인 업데이트로 더 넓은 유저층을 확보하려는 노력이 시장에서 통했다”고 말했다. 그러면서 “더욱 막중한 책임감으로 고객의 사랑에 보답하는 행복한 게임을 만들겠다”고 덧붙였다.
현재 네시삼십삼분은 중국과 일부 동남아 시장 진출을 준비 중이다. 소 대표는 “기획단계에서부터 아시아 시장에 포커스해서 만든 게임으로 한중일 그리고 동남아에서 시장성이 있을 것으로 예상하고 있다”며 “이 곳에서 국내 못지 않은 성과를 낼 것으로 기대하고 있다”고 밝혔다.
