SEOUL, KOREA - Tom Potter(“Potter”), the CEO of Rush Sports Marketing and Investment Ltd. (“Rush”) UK, visited Oullim Motors (“Oullim”) on April 19, and was impressed by SPIRRA, the first and only Korean custom hand-made sports car.
Potter is a former racing driver, and before becoming CEO of Rush Sports Marketing & Investment, was a senior commercial figure at the Williams F1 Team (“Williams”); alongside Ferrari, one of the most famous and successful F1 Teams. Rush develops specifically tailored partnerships for companies that seek to advance their products and maximize their brand values through sports marketing. Formula 1 is the pinnacle of automotive technology and sporting competition providing the ultimate environment for Supercar manufacturer’s technical and brand development. Ferrari is of course synonymous with the sport having competed since the very beginning; McLaren’s latest road cars are built from the DNA of their race team; whilst Marussia is the latest new manufacturer to establish its brand through the sport. Other F1 teams like Williams F1 have provided their engineering expertise and F1 racing derived technology such as KERS to manufacturers including as Porsche, Audi and Jaguar.

Potter, who was introduced about SPIRRA at Oullim HQ, visited Oullim facility in Gwangju and positively evaluated the newly launched SPIRRA CREGiT’s design and performance. Also, Potter showed interest on Oullim’s new SPIRRA EV (Electrical Vehicle), which is to be completed by EPH (Electric Power Holland) in the Netherlands.
Potter said, “I was not aware that Korea produced such a great car, and I was happy to see and experience it today. I was impressed and believe that SPIRRA has a great potential as an entry-level Supercar. I am delighted to have the opportunity to become involved in such exciting projects with Oullim Motors and look forward to working together with them.”

Jeff Park, the Chief Officer of PR and Global Marketing at Oullim Motors, said that, “We greatly appreciate Tom, a former racer and member of the legendary Williams F1 Team, coming a long way to Korea to see SPIRRA. We are even more thrilled and proud that Tom was impressed by SPIRRA’s design and performance. We have come a long way to complete Korea’s first and only custom hand-made SPIRRA, and Tom’s involvement would be a start for our brand to be known in the world of international racing. Oullim will work with Rush to explore opportunities for the co-development of chassis and drive trains with an F1 Team and on its associated motorsports marketing program.”
Potter will finish his business trip in Asia this week, and with his team at Rush further develop a specific marketing strategy as well as a technical project proposal for Oullim.
