SEOUL, KOREA - LG Electronics has released a 316-liter freezer for household use on May 8. The freezer has the largest capacity among those available in Korea.
Compared to existing freezers with 200-liter-or-so capacities, the brand-new freezer allows users to store more foods such as meat, fish, condiments and the like, in a more effective manner.
This freezer acquired the first grade in energy efficiency grading. With an LED window, users can adjust the temperature of the freezer with the precision of one degree in the range from 25 degrees below zero to 17 degrees below zero. The retail price of the freezer is set at 1.09 million won.
An LG official said, "The demand for large-capacity freezers will expand due to an increase in the number of double-income families and the ever-growing consumer pattern of purchasing large quantities of food at one time."
