SEOUL, KOREA - CJ O Shopping announced on May 14 that a female clothing brand "Demin" by designer Jang Min-Young opened its shop in Hong Kong's largest premium store "IT" for the first time among Korean brands. CJ O Shopping has sponsored the Demin brand since last year.
IT is Hong Kong's largest fashion group that runs its own brands and premium stores. IT runs about 700 stores in China and Hong Kong and 100 in Europe. Demin set up shop in three IT stores, including those in Hysan Place, a newly opened shopping mall in high-rent Causeway Bay.
To celebrate the launching of the Denim brand there, CJ O Shopping plans to stage a special K Fashion event for a month starting from May 13. The event will be held at a special Demin shop located in the center of the lobby floor of Hysan Place. It will be attended by Demin designer Jang Min-Young, CJ O Shopping's fashion advisor Chung Yun-Ki the stylist, and Jessica of the popular girl group Girls' Generation.
