SEOUL, KOREA - The Korea Exchange said on May 28 it would include seven companies, E-Mart, Korea Aerospace Industries, Cosmax, Daeduck GDS, Korea Circuit, Fursys, and Huvis, as part of the KOSPI 200.
The seven companies will be incorporated in the index from June 14 while the incumbent companies, including Kyungbang, Daehan Flour Mills, Dongbu Steel, DongA One Corp., Iljin Electric, Chosun Refractories, and Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Holdings, would be excluded from the list.
As for the KOSPI 100 Index, E-Mart will be newly allowed in while Hankook Tire Worldwide will be eliminated. E-Mart and AmorePacific will be let in to the KOSPI 50 list while Korean Airlines and GS Engineering & Construction are to be excluded.
