SEOUL, KOREA - Nexus 4, a smartphone model created jointly by LG Electronics and Google, kicked off official sales in Korea on May 30. The official sales of Nexus 4 in Korea came in seven months after it was released in the United States in October 2012.

Google Korea announced that it started selling Nexus 4 through Google Play from May 30. Google Korea explained that the after-sales service for the Nexus 4 models sold in Korea will be offered by LG Electronics' service centers throughout the country.
The Nexus 4 is best-optimized for Google Android operating system JellyBean 4.2. It is appointed with a pure Android operating system without software produced by LG Electronics or any other telecom service companies.
With a 4.7-inch screen size, the Nexus 4 is mounted with a Qualcomm's 1.5GHz quad-core processor. It features an 8-megapixel camera and a 2100mAh battery. The model is compatible only with 3G, not with 4G LTE.
